Social Club

Social Club is established in VidyaRathna English Medium school with the following aims and objectives:

- To create and foster spirit of understanding among the members

- To promote the good citizenship

- To take and active interest in cultural and moral welfare of the society

- To unite the club in the bonds of friendship and good fellowship

- To provid a forum for the open discussion

- To encourage the development of leadership qualities in members and other students

Social Club is responsible for electing school parliament to keep it functioning in the form of model democracy. Election is conducting in that spirit providing ample opportunity for its members to promote and prepare for the election.

For the academic year 2015-16, school parliament election and parliament oath taking ceremony took place on 16th August, 2016. From the outcome of this election, Chandan Kumar Shetty (Class X- A) was selected as SPL (School Pupil Leader) and Suvin (Class IX-B) was selected as ASPL (Assistant SPL).

Teacher’s Day in India is celebrated on 5th of September every year. The club also organized Teacher’s Day event on 7th of September to honor the contribution of teachers in study, society and country. It’s also the anniversary of Dr. Sarwapalli RadhaKrishnan, pioneer of education and was also President of India. In addition, Kannada Rajyothsava celebration was organized and conducted on 1st Novemeber. Sri. K. Ravindra Shetty inaugurated the event. Members of the social club presented entertainment and cultural activities following the event.
