Literacy Club

The literary club involved in conducting Gandhi Jayanthi Celebration, Kannada Rajyothsava, Elocation & Quiz competition among other events. Books are passports to learning new culture, society, civilization. Most importantly it helps in learning new things. In literacy club, we celebrate these opportunities by inspiring students in spreading culture, heritage of our community, state and country. The club also involves in conducting activities promoting book reading habits.

Our school literacy Club for the year 2014-15 was inaugurated on 12th July 2014 in Ravindra Kala Vedike at 10.A.M. School President Sri K. Ravindra Shetty Ulidottu launched the event and Zilla Panchayat member Sri Satish Kumpala inaugurated the literacy Club.

Literary Club organized Gandhi Jayanti event on 2nd October in school. Along with it conducted ‘Swachahtha Andolana’, a cleanliness drive around local regions around campus event, promoting Mahatma Gandhi’s quest for self relience and independence. School President Mr. Ravindra Shetty lead the event motivating students in inculcating this habit.

On November 1st, school celebrated 59th Karnataka Rajyothsava Day. An event organized on behalf of school’s Cultural Forum (Sahitya Vedike) at Ravindra Auditorium involved launching ceremony, cultural performance among other activities. Elocation & Quiz Competition was held on same day at school promise tested students general knowledge, awareness of world events and academic curriculum culture etc. The winners were awarded prizes at the end of the competition.
