Scouts & Guides Association

Scouts and Guides Association at VidyaRathna School has achieved tremendous success over the years with many of the members receiving Rashtrapathi and Rajya Puraskar Awards. With its stated purpose of actively engaging and supporting young people in their personal development and empowering them to make a positive contributions, the association has helped in organizing many events and socially responsible activities in campus.

In our school, Scouts has 2 divisions namely, VidyaRathna Scout troops and Bal Gangadhar Tilak Scout troop. Guides have Sarojini Naidu Guide Company. Current strength of membership stands at 50 Guides and 57 Scouts. Scouts & Guides member assists in various school events and participates in The Bharath Scouts & Guides Association activities in local, district, State and National level. Our scouts & guides have recently been selected for participation in National Jamboree to be held in Mysore this year.

Scouts & Guides Association organizes Ramzan, Deepavali, Christmas, Thinking Day, Sweet memories event among other activities in school. In addition, it helps in organizing school club events as well.

2012-13 7 Scouts & 16 Guides were awarded Rajya Puraskar

2013-14 3 Scouts & 4 Guides awarded Rashtrapathi Puraskar

2013-14 9 Scouts & 8 Guides received Rajya Puraskar

2014-15 5 Scouts awarded Rashtrapathi Puraskar

2014-15 10 Scouts & 9 Guides were awarded Rajya Puraskar

2015-16 Our scout Abhilash M. recieved Rashtrapathi Award from Pranabh Mukharji in Delhi

2015-16 2 Scouts & 5 Guides were awarded Rajya Puraskar
