Classrooms & smart classes

VidyaRathna school has 18 classrooms with 14 of them equipped with smart classroom facilities. The school has partnered with ‘Next Education’ in facilitating smart classrooms. As digital contents and tailored education become a norm, VidyaRathna school is engaged in working with education technology providers for giving students opportunity to explore modern way of thinking and learning.

Computer Lab

The school has modern computer lab equipped with 10 computers and electronics accessories for technology education. Our academic curriculum includes periodic computer learning classes. The students able to learn MS Office products like Office Word, MS Office PowerPoint, MS Office Excel applications. In addition, our faculty members ensure practical knowledge and application learning to facilities changing technology trends.

Library

Our students are able to access the reference books and additional learning materials using library facilities. We have subscription to magazines, periodicals and books for learning general knowledge, science, social and other subjects of interests.

Language learning books are also available for students interested in learning languages of interest. School clubs facilitates language learning in student groups as activities. It helps in understanding the different cultures, traditions and its society by start learning their language.

Sports

The school emphasizes activities outside classroom with care as much as studies inside classrooms. We have facilities for indoor and outdoor sports activities. Students are provided opportunity for playing games like Cricket, Football, Badminton, Volley ball, Throw ball among other outdoor games. Students also play indoor games like Chess, puzzles etc which are useful for expanding interests beyond classrooms.

Arts, crafts, dance & music

The school has a reputation to invite and facilitate arts, crafts, music scholars and practitioners for providing knowledge beyond academic studies. Recently our school has awarded Sri Guru Kiran, a well-known musical director in Karnataka “VidyaRathna Award” for his exemplary leadership in culture and entertainment fields.

We have dedicated arts & dance teacher for teaching pupils dance, play, choreography, painting, sculptures among various other arts related classes. Our students regularly perform at our annual events and cultural events facilitated by our school. In addition, our students has won multiple awards at ‘Prathiba Karanji Utsav’ at Cluster, Regional & Taluk level competitions.

Apart from music related activities supported by school, we have dedicated choir group for everyday prayer and special events. Many of our students give live music performance in school events and competitions across regional schools.
